Singing Ladybug

As a child in Germany my friends and I turned the corn poppy flowers that grew everywhere into little people and played games with them. The outer, bright-colored petals are supple and can be bent down, with the seedpod becomes the head and the feathery whorl of stamens a necklace. 

We had dances and concerts and the triptic Encore shows a poppy person listening to the left and the right and a Poppy Violinist accompanied by a singing ladybug in the middle.
